We are looking for a:

COUNTRY SALES LEADER
Based in POLAND
(Szczecin or Warsaw)


Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Sales Leader who will be responsible for maximizing assigned Country sales & profitability including branch offices. Other tasks will include an active sales responsibility, staff management, staff development and operational compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the sales efforts within the Country through active involvement with each sales team, customers, Product Managers and customer support functions;
  • Ensuring that business goals are met and exceeded, assist in developing strategic plans to improve sales and margin results, enhance performance and provide advice or direction in resolving customer issues and supporting business growth;
  • Meeting with key customers on a regular basis to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, identification of new sales opportunities, and assist in closing large sales;
  • Increasing market share by planning and conducting new and current business relationships and liaising with Product Management to maximize vendor support to the business;
  • Supervising all customer contact functions within the country;
  • Holding regular Sales reviews with the individual sales teams to review sales performance;
  • Actively participating in the EMEA monthly sales forecast process;
  • Monitoring daily sales orders and invoicing as well as assisting finance in the development of the Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for sales, selling expenses, and operating profit;
  • Direct responsibility for achieving or exceeding the AOP budgets throughout the year;
  • Working with EMEA and local Product/Channel Marketing to ensure they understand voice of the customer and are selecting products/developing channel plans that meet customer’s needs;
  • Developing sales and promotional programs in line with the EMEA and Company process;
  • Maintaining a strong team focus with continuous motivation and leadership.


Expectations:
Experience:

  • Master degree or equivalent through experience;
  • 8-10 years of sales experience of which 5 in a management role;
  • Successful sales track-record in complex technical solutions (IT, Telecom, Security…) preferably in a multinational distribution environment;
  • Experience in managing change in a commercial environment
  • Essential Skills;
  • Excellent leadership and ability to manage change;
  • Ability to make strategic as well as tactical decision;
  • Management by example;
  • Ability to motivate & coach teams as well as provide constructive feedback to achieve high performance and motivation to exceed results;
  • Experience in working collaboratively & efficiently in a matrix environment;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Highly analytical and ability to resolve complex issues;
  • Result & client oriented;
  • Financial acumen & ability to build and manage a budget;
  • Proven experience in managing a P&L and forecasting;
  • Flexibility and resilience, including ability to adapt to a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to quickly understand and deploy tools & processes;
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills;
  • Ability to communicate & interact at every level of the organization;
  • Very good command of Office and particularly Excel;
  • Very good command of English (written & verbal). Any additional European language would be an advantage.

  • Market knowledge and very good technical skills;
  • Good Customer approach;
  • Good experience in process development;
  • Engaged, ability to effectively & efficiently manage challenges;
  • Very good interpersonal skills.
